Fest steht, dass ich die Single zu "Tiefer" nicht erwerben werde. Das nächste Album werde ich mir aber vorab genau anhören und dann entscheiden, ob ich es kaufe. Ich habe bisher jedes ISC-Album und auch viele (auch limitierte) EP's und Singles blind gekauft. Auf "Utopia" freue ich mich aber ehrlich gesagt, über jede von Dennis gesungene Strophe. Bezüglich der weiblichen Stimmgewalt driftet ISC in die Mittelmäßigkeit ab. Und leider muss ich meinem Vorredner recht geben. ISC standen bisher für eigenständige alternative Electromusik. Sie sind austauschbar und zum großen Teil inzwischen massenkompatibel. So haben sie doch alle eines gemein: ihnen fehlt jeglich Innovation. Wenngleich all die genannten Bands über ein großes Publikum verfügen und sicher auch keine schlechte Musik machen. Und der Rest klingt nach Within Temptation, Nightwish und Co. Ein bisschen Oomph, Eisbrecher, Megaherz und all die anderen im Fahrwasser von Rammstein schwimmenden Bands. Zugegeben, es ist kein wirklich schlechtes Album. "Utopia" ist natürlich optisch wieder sehr gelungen, doch musikalisch bin ich enttäuscht. Ich fand zwar die Entwicklung auf dem Vorgängeralbum aufgrund der deutlichen Hinwendung zu mehr Gitarren gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber dennoch sehr gelungen. Es war immer leicht, ihre Musik von anderen Bands zu unterscheiden. In Strict Confidence haben sich seit Jahren von Album zu Album weiterentwickelt. If it is on sale or at a price you consider reasonable give it a try, you may enjoy it more then I did. Overall there is good and bad with the album but there might be something an individual listener make be able to walk away with. The male singer is pretty decent as well and really enjoyed his deeper vocals similiar to Rammestein in sound and would like to see what they could do with an album going with a deeper male vocal and all German.

She has a really fabulous voice and would really like to see what she could do if given free reign. What I would really like to hear from Utopia would be a solo album by the female singer. They have a mixed and diverse sound on this album and wished that they went with one or the other and not bounce around like they did. When I got the album I listened to it from start to finish two or three times while driving since that is where I listen to most of my music and found that it was not as impressive as I found the one song I listened to. Listened to one song on youtube and really liked what I had heard.
